An optimal governance structure is critical to ensure an organisation’s financial, strategic, and operational performance. The board and those charged with governance must establish a combination of processes and structures to direct, manage, and monitor the organisation’s activities towards achieving its objectives.
Governance Review
Governance review involves analysing the processes and structures in place in alignment with strategic goals and good governance practices. We perform these reviews as part of internal audit assignments or as a standalone review. Our tailor-made solutions incorporate the following elements:
- Development of an appropriate governance structure after completing a cost-benefit analysis.
- Development and/or review of governance policies, frameworks, and operating procedures.

Conforming Standards
Our approach is to review the King Report on Good Corporate Governance and the conforming standards issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors (International Professional Practices Framework).
